I purchased this to cover a sofa that I bought that is a dark red background with flowers. This sofa I want to place on the patio and required a heavy canvas material to withstand the Florida sun and weather. This was the perfect canvas for the cost, and I went all over to locate the perfect material. I am going to paint it with fabric paint to have a pleasant seeking sofa. The wood element of the sofa is bamboo so I will preserve in with the tropical theme of the bamboo. The red element with the flowers just doesn't do the sofa justice. Will send a picture when the sofa is covered.
The canvas is a really very good top quality and will lend itself to the painting and the covering of the sofa.

If you are applying the drop cloths for sewing, as I did, make confident you pre-shrink them. I did not, in spite of reading evaluations that I should certainly. My curtains turned out outstanding - all of the pre-finished hems, etc., meant only sewing a header. All was fine till it rained, they got wet and shrunk up about three inches, in spite of in no way getting close to a dryer! Oh well, they are on our screened porch, so it is not the finish of the planet, but I wish I hadn't been so lazy!
I would recommend them for any outdoor sewing projects you might possibly have, as they are a beneficial worth for the capital. I am positive they would also work well for their intended objective ~ I could do that with my left-over pieces.
