Rite Lite LPL606XLGRC wireless LED image light is the ideal light to highlight artwork, pictures or diplomas hanging on the wall. The eight white LEDs are super vibrant and final up 100,000 hours. This light is battery operated (batteries not included), subsequently no wires or installation are required. Works just as advertised. I was a bit apprehensive when obtaining ready to order based on one particular buyers overview, in which they stated it did not light up their 56" inch wide image fairly nicely. Well following thinking about it for a minute, and based on the dimensions listed in the specs section, I would not ever count on a light this size to cover an area anyplace near that huge. So, based on its dimensions and the excellent price with a remote, I decided to take the gamble. I had planned on mounting it to the top rated of the frame of a 44" inch wide by 36" inch tall picture and it essentially turned out great! It lights my old ship oil painting up entirely and evenly and the light even looks nice as nicely. Definitely up to par with the even more pricey ones I saw at some lighting stores. On a image any bigger than this nonetheless, I believe this medium sized light would run out of steam... Your mileage can vary a bit, but on a image even this massive I am particularly satisfied.
The remote functions awesome at 15 + feet across my living space, and the dimming feature is in fact pretty useful. When on its brightest setting, it operates well in a brightly lit area. When you turn off surrounding lights, you will most certainly want to use the dimmer function.

The light takes 3 AA alk batts, it works as stated, and does it well.
A fantastic reasonably priced item, and properly created. The batts last a
extended time, even when left inadvertently on overnight. The remote operates properly.
The light aiming takes trial and error for your circumstance to get it ideal.
