already taped off lots of compact window panes to paint sash and it operates definitely properly, You can even lift it back off and straighten it again, sticks properly. Would recommend this tape.
The semi new blue masking tape is far better than the old beige stuff. Improved release and no residue. I did get a chuckle outta the advert saying, "New and used for sale!"
